A message from your Spokes and Spurs President

Hello everyone!

I wanted to wish you a very happy Easter and Passover!   I am
frantically working on a new newsletter that hopefully I’ll get it out
to you later today.  As you know, all Spokes and Spurs meetings and
activities have been cancelled through May due to the COVID shut down.
It is my hope we will be able to continue activities in June, but we
shall see.

Many of you have seen on Facebook that Thorsten and Allison have
purchased a farm in Florida.  We will certainly miss their daily
presence with us.  The good news is, Thorsten is still planning on
doing the clinics at Coach House Farm beginning in June.  I will give
the further details in our newsletter.  Thorsten will be flying back
here to continue with the lessons.

All activities for June are still in place at this time.  These
include the Hillcroft drive day and the Lexington Classic.  I am now
appealing for volunteers for the Lexington Classic!

I also want to add that your Executive Board and Events Committee will
work to reschedule as many of the cancelled activities that were
planned in March, April, and May.  It all depends on when the lock
down is lifted and time is permitting.

I cannot express how much I miss seeing all of you.  When we get back
together, we may have to break the 6 foot rule to hug each other!
