Update on club activities

Still using the COVID-19 restrictions, we are proceeding with our
activities.  The Hillcroft Drive was very successful with many
participants.  All observed the face mask rules and kept their social
distancing.  Thanks again to James and Misdee Miller for the generous
use of their land and especially to Todd Draheim for all his hard work
in mowing, marking, and setting things up for a safe and wonderful
drive!

The July 4 and 5 Thorsten Clinic is almost full.  As of yesterday,
there are 4 spaces left for Sunday, July 5.  Here is a
registration form that also has all of the dates for clinics for 2020.

Saturday, July 11, Kate and Katie Whaley are again sponsoring a
mini-CDE at Coach House Farm in Paris.  To register for this, send an
email to:  spokesandspursky@gmail.com
Include your name, level of driving, carriage type, and equine breed
along with your equine’s name.   This activity is free of charge to
Spokes and Spurs members and is aimed at practice and just having fun.
Don’t miss this opportunity.  Yes, COVID-19 restrictions will still
apply.  The deadline date for registering is Tuesday, July 7.  After
entries are received, Katie will make up a schedule for drive times
and I will forward them to you!

The first Derby Day at Coach House Farm is scheduled for Saturday,
July 25.  The registration form is here.  Deadline for registering
for the first derby is June 30.  If we do not have enough entries, we
will not be able to hold the derbies.  Get your registration in now!

Please note, the date for the final derby has been changed to October 10.
