Upcoming Events
We have definitely decided the last of the mini-series schooling events for 2022 will be Saturday, November 5, at Valkyrie’s Haven, 487 Cynthiana Rd., Paris, KY 40361. Leslye Sandberg has again graciously furnished her beautiful farm for this occasion. Carrie Ostrowski has furnished us with the registration forms for participants and for volunteers (below). Please note: If you have more than one turnout, submit separate forms.

We will use ADS Test A for each division to remain consistent with the previous events. The divisions are: Novice Training, Training, Preliminary, Intermediate, and Intermediate II. As of this notification we do not have the marathon length and format. That will be posted soon. Start times will also be sent on a later date.
Leslye Sandberg and Ann Katona, (Spokes and Spurs President), are furnishing beef and chicken chili for the lunch. Spokes and Spurs will furnish table service and drinks. We are asking participants to bring something that goes with chili, such as corn bread, crackers, chips, vegetables, salads, and desserts.
The following Saturday, November 12, we will have our annual drive at Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill, 3501 Lexington Rd., Harrodsburg, KY, beginning at 10:00 a.m. There is no cost to members; Spokes and Spurs pays for your entry fee. This is such a lovely drive especially in the fall and the air begins to be crisp. Linda Freeman, (past Spokes and Spurs President), will be leading the drive. Please arrive early enough for us to start down the trails at 10:00 a.m. Bring your lunch so we can all sit down afterwards for social time! Riders are invited, but please make sure your equine is comfortable
around carriages.
We hope there will be a large number of participants for both events.

Save the date: Annual Membership Meeting and Elections at the CAA Office at the Kentucky Horse Park, December 4, 2:00 p.m. Spokes and Spurs will furnish food and drink.
